Scrap: Have a ball
What can you do with all that scrap silver you have collected? Little portions of snipped wire, circle donuts and even the over-melted project can be re-imagined into works of art via this simple technique.
1.Using a condensed charcoal brick (from jewelry suppliers, not your BB-Q) create little holes with a dapping punch.
2.Put a little scrap over this hole and torch until molten. The metal will form a perfect little molten ball.
3.Tip block over water or pickle to quench newly formed ball.
4.Make lots and add to your designs.
