The Faith of Women

In collaboration with Mawadda Alaswadi.
It has been my observation that women have a quality that allows them to bond in ways that transcend views and opinions that might otherwise divide them.
To explore this, two women came together, one Muslim, one Christian, to find a common ground of expression. The blister pearl is symbolic of faith, the Garnet of sacrifice. Three tines leading down express Humility, Mercy, and Justice. Carved in Arabic script (upside down for the wearer to view) is the word Respect. As our children play together would we want anything less for them?
